Course Overview

The purpose of this qualification is to assist candidates to gain knowledge, skills and attitudes required in business management. The skills learned enable learners to respond to the challenges of the economic environment and changing world of work. The qualification covers business management related learning. It provides the framework for learners to develop key competencies that will give them insight into managing people in business environment. Learners are introduced to the fundamental understanding, concepts and terminology of business management.

  • Method of Assessment: Candidates will be assessed by completing a knowledge questionnaire and compiling Portfolios of Evidence
  • Once Learners have been declared competent and their assessment outcome have been verified by the Services Seta, they will earn the credits linked to unit standards making up the skills programme /qualification.
  • These credits will be registered on the National Learners’ Records Database
